playtime: ??? (~5 hours?)
spawned in the middle of a big dark oak forest! i do like the biome, but not so much for living in. i immediately ran off and dug into a mountain to survive the night while i was waiting for my friends to get settled.
eventually, i came back to spawn, where 2 of my friends had settled in a cave, and i decided to live with them for a bit before i got myself situated on what i wanted to do
i spent most of this day prettying up the little cave area we settled in, mining, and exploring to figure out where i eventually wanted to put my base. while i was out exploring, i discovered this gem:
i mean seriously. hollow cave with a cherry tree biome on top?? how could i not?? that's prime base material right there.
i moved all my stuff over to the mountain (1.4k blocks away from spawn) and then went to bed.
playtime: ??? (~12 hours?)
started getting to work! mainly on terraforming the cave out a bit, took out some of the stone pillars in it and flattened out the front area to make for a better entrance. then built up a windy wood staircase up to where i wanted the base to actually be
i also mined for a good few hours and got like a stack of diamonds at this point... putting in the WORK
but yeah. got the house built and started up farms! also went to the nether to find a fortress and kill some endermen. i did find a fortress that had a blaze spawner, but unfortunately it was so tiny that was the only thing inside of it
assorted, found a shipwreck on the shore and found a bamboo forest to get some scaffolding!

honestly didn't do all too much today..! i found the stronghold and placed a little surprise there for whenever we get around to killing the dragon though ehehe
i did almost set my house on fire at one point. i put my little lava source (we have the gamerule on yeah) too close to my house forgetting it could catch fire and then when i tabbed back in half my stairs were gone so i had to fix that
i've been considering making a new base tbh--i know it's a silly idea since we're only 3 days in and all that but i don't enjoy the cave base as much as i thought i would, both due to how it's kind of hard to access and also how sheltered it feels. it's possible i could take down the current one and move it further to the front of the cave to fix it, but i don't feel like that'd make me happy with it so blehh
who cares though? it's for me to have fun with, so if i wanna make a new base i'll make a new base >:]
